I needed to take some time out for myself for the holidays. Art's been really slim due to illness and exhaustion. Since this sketch was on my computer, I went ahead and picked at it bit by bit over the past week.
I feel rotten I wasn't able to turn out too many pieces for Naka-kon.
This week, it's back to the outstanding commissions and then I'm going to try to work on a previous project in earnest. I really need to get back to updating my Deviantart. I just really haven't missed the "community" there. Maybe it's because I've been out of touch for so long. It's been tough to psych myself up to it or many of the other galleries. It's just one of those things I'll have to do no matter how much of a chore it is. If I could only find a way to make it rewarding or fun for myself again, I know I'd be more encouraged to do it.Current Mood:  calm |

Is it already 2010? I remember 2000 very vividly! It seems like so much has happened in ten years, but so much has stayed the same, too. It's kind of a comfort. I feel my life is fulfilling and I'm very glad to have witnessed the passing of ten years with my best friend. Here's to many more decades of love and life! Thank God for all my friends, all our blessings, and for a beautiful moon on the New Year.

Just doodling for myself. Zidane's 19 on the MUX now. 19! Will he ever be a responsible adult?
I'll probably color it later. I want to try some new techniques and this should be a good picture on which to do so. I think I still have three more commissions in queue, too, plus the art for Naka-kon!
