Science and tech via CNN
Yeah I dislike CNN just as much as most, but at least some of thier sections are free of their demons.

While there may be format wars across the board all the time, the market will always drive itself towards standards. We'll see how this plays out in the long run.

Cosmology is a passion of mine, and I'd like to think that I'd be at Berkeley right now if my math skills weren't non-existant. Still I know much more then the avarage person about how our universe works on the very small to the very large (quantum mechanics and super-string theory make me tingle ^_^) and this kind of thing just drives me to learn more. Most people can't even fathom what a Black Hole is... which I find funny...

Slightly interesting, yet very funny. Seriously though, Jupiter and Saturn interest me alot more. Europa holds so many possibilities as far as terraforming and extraterrestrial life (I'm a firm believer in the Drake equation, even though that doesn't really fit into our own solar system) and I REALLY want to know what kind of massive celestial firepower was needed to pulverize so many moons that Saturn's rings came into being.
